What time should guests arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm, so we ask that guests arrive 20-30 minutes before so that everyone can be seated on time.
What is the dress code?
We would love to see everyone dressed up with us as we celebrate!
We are requesting that guests dress in FORMAL attire. Majority of the wedding will be outdoors, so please take that into account.
Gentlemen: Please wear a dark suit. Ties are optional!
Ladies: Maxi/floor length gowns/dresses are recommended. Feel free to get creative! Bright and fun colors are welcome, and you're welcome to experiment with patterns, frills and statement silhouettes. Note that creams, whites and ivories are reserved for the bride. Due to the grass and paved areas you may be walking in, a wedge or block heel may be best.
Will the wedding be outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors, followed by an indoor cocktail hour and outdoor tented reception. High temperatures in April are typically in the mid to upper 70s with lows in the mid 60s. As the wedding is toward the end of the month, it may be a little bit warmer during the day but we expect a nice breeze while on the riverfront.
Can I make a special dietary request?
Yes. Please list any food allergy or dietary restriction/concern in the note of your RSVP. We plan to accommodate on an individual basis.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, drinks are on us! We will be serving beer, wine, seltzers and select liquors. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Open bar will be available beginning at cocktail hour and will have last call thirty minutes before the end of the reception.
Is there a hotel room block available?
We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! We have room blocks at the Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Orange Park and Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville/Orange Park nearby the venue. Please find details and the link to book within the Travel Accommodations section of our site.
Will transportation to the venue be provided?
Due to the close proximity of hotels with room blocks, and parking being available at the venue, there will not be transportation. Thank you for understanding! For those of you that will be drinking, we encourage booking an Uber or Lyft.
Is parking available at the venue?
There is onsite parking available at the venue and parking attendants will guide you where to park. Guest cars may be left overnight but should be retrieved the next day by 1pm.
Can I bring children?
We are blessed to have an abundance of family and friends that we want to include in our celebration. Due to capacity constraints of our venue, we have chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only occasion with the exception of a couple of children included in the wedding party. We hope this advanced notice allows you to attend our big day, and we encourage our friends and family to use this evening as a fun night out for yourself!
How do I RSVP & when is the deadline?
In lieu of a mail back RSVP card included with your invitation, RSVPs will be collected digitally through our wedding website. To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type in one of the names listed on your envelope.
Kindly reply by Monday, January 20th to ensure your presence. If we don't receive your RSVP by January 20th, we will unfortunately have to mark you as a "no" as we will be sending final headcount in advance to vendors. If you are unable to attend, please still let us know by RSVPing "not attending" at the soonest opportunity.
Can I bring a date?
We are excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! If you receive a plus one, their name or "Guest" will appear under your name when you RSVP.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you do not have your phones out during the ceremony as our talented photography team will be capturing this special moment!
Following the ceremony, we do highly encourage you to capture as much of our special day as you would like. Please make sure to share with us any and all photos following the event as we would love to see your photos/videos to look back on!!
